Bio-Awakening Universe™ · Practice Journal
Seven days. Write the identity you're encoding. Write what your body shows you. Send it back to me.
Before You Begin
You don’t have to be perfectly ready. Most people aren’t.
This journal is for when IMPACT has begun to settle your system — when the war inside has quieted enough that you can feel what’s underneath.
If you haven’t done IMPACT yet, or if your system is still mostly defending, start there first. Not because you did anything wrong. Because the body needs a little room before it can receive something new.
You’re not trying to force a future version of yourself into place. You’re letting the body begin to recognize what already feels true enough to move toward.
"You cannot encode a new identity while your nervous system is still defending the old one. Clear first, then create."
About these seven days
Seven days isn’t enough to encode a new identity. And that’s okay. The body keeps its own pace. Sometimes things shift quickly. Sometimes they settle in slowly. Both are normal.
What seven days can do is begin something. You’ll show up for the practice, write down what came, and slowly start to feel how IEP actually works. That’s enough.
I’m not asking you to transform. I’m asking you to show up for yourself for seven days, and then again, weeks later, for one more page — the 30-day check-in. The body keeps its own time.
The practices, in case you need a reminder
You already know these from the workbook. Here they are again, with IEP at the center.
Keep alongside throughout
Full IMPACT Method
Keep using IMPACT alongside these seven days. Whenever something rises, meet it with warmth before reaching for IEP. The system needs to stay settled for IEP to take. If old patterns come back hard during this week, that's information — go back to IMPACT until things quiet, then continue.
What you'll do each day
IEP™ — Identity Encoding Protocol
Four steps. Arrive at coherence. Ground in what's true right now. Allow a future identity to land in the body as a felt experience. Stay with that felt state long enough for the body to start treating it as familiar. Morning is a gentle time for this. Evening too, if you want — there's a place to note that separately.
Optional practices
IMPACT Light™ and N.A.P.™
Both still available. Light is for moments during the day when something rises and you don't have time for the full method. N.A.P. is the last thing before sleep. They support these seven days but they're not the focus. Note them in the open space if you use them.
How each day will go
Each day you’ll find the same questions waiting. Whether your body felt settled enough to begin. The identity you reached for. What it felt like in the body while you sat with it. And then the question I care about most: what you noticed afterward, in your day.
The session matters. But the real story is what happens after. Did something feel different? Did a small choice come more naturally? Did the future identity feel a little less imaginary and a little more familiar? Even something tiny counts.
There's also a small space for an evening session if you do one, or for noting IMPACT Light or N.A.P. moments. And an open space at the bottom for whatever else is true.
And honestly, some days it may feel like absolutely nothing happened. That’s not failure. That’s information. It might mean the system needs more settling, or the felt sense needs more time, or the body just needs more days. The honest write-up of a quiet day is just as useful to me as the write-up of a loud one.
A small thing that helps
Set your phone alarm for the same time each day. It helps you remember. That's it.
When you reach the end
After day seven there's a final reflection. Then a separate 30-day check-in page you'll come back to weeks later. When you're ready to share, click Send to Jeff at the top. Your writing will download as a text file you can email to me at jeff@bioawakening.com. Send it after day seven. Send again after the 30-day page. I read every one.
Your writing saves as you go. Close the page whenever. Come back when you're ready. It'll be here.
And if you want to do this again later — another seven days, when something new has surfaced — you can. Seven days is not the finish line. It’s just one honest pass through what you’re becoming. Send me what you wrote first, then clear the journal, and begin again. There’s no pressure to become someone else overnight. The point is learning how the body begins to recognize a new way of being.
Before The Practice
Before you begin these seven days, just take a moment to feel where your body is.
This isn’t a test. I just want you to be honest with yourself.
IEP works best when the system is settled. Not perfect. Not floating. Just settled enough that the body has room to receive something new.
What reliable coherence feels like
Not perfect. Not constant. But the baseline you return to has shifted. When something rises during the day, you can meet it. The system isn't braced. There's a quiet underneath that wasn't there before.
If most of the above is true for you most of the time — you're ready. Begin.
If only some of it is true, or you're not sure — pause here. Spend more time with IMPACT before this trial. Come back to this journal when the ground feels more reliable underneath you. There is no timeline. The body decides when it's ready.
If almost none of it is true — please go back to IMPACT first. IEP attempted from a still-defended state will at best do nothing, and at worst will reinforce the very patterns the work is trying to release.
A place to start
What does settled feel like for you right now, in your own words?
And one more
Are you mostly there? If not, what's still asking to be met first?
Whatever you write here is fine — there's no right answer. If during the seven days you find your settled state isn't holding, that's worth knowing too. Come back to this page and add to what you wrote. Honesty is what makes this useful, not getting it right.
Day
One
Before you begin
Is your body settled enough to begin?
Write this before you start. If you're not settled, do IMPACT first.
After
What were you reaching for today? A way of being, an opportunity, a moment that hasn't happened yet?
After
How did your body feel during the session?
After — Three (the most important)
Did anything in your day feel like what you were reaching for? Even something small?
Evening session, if you did one
A second session, IMPACT Light during the day, N.A.P. before sleep. Note any of it here.
Anything Else
Sends just today's entry. You can still use Send to Jeff at the top to send everything at once.

Looking Back — End Of Seven Days
However many days you did, take a little time to step back. What's beginning to feel familiar in a way it didn't before. Not what should have shifted. What actually has, even a little. The body keeps its own time. This is just the first reading.
One
What's beginning to be noticeable — even if subtle, even if you're not sure?
Two
What was the most honest moment of the practice? The one you'd tell a friend about?
Three
Anything else you want me to know? Anything I didn't ask?

This page is meant to be left blank for now. Close the file. Live for a while. The body's predictive machinery — the RAS recalibrating, the DMN narrative softening, behavior beginning to follow new attention — happens on a different timeline than the seven days you just completed.
Come back to this page about thirty days after day seven. The identity you've been encoding takes root in the weeks after the practice, not in the seven days themselves. What I want to know is how things feel by then, with some time having passed.
One
What has shifted in the weeks since you began? Even small things. Especially small things.
Two
What has practice looked like since day seven? Did you keep going, stop, modify, return?
Three
Anything you want me to know now that you couldn't have said at day seven?
When this is filled in, click Send to Jeff at the top again to download an updated copy that includes the check-in.

If You'd Like To Begin Again
Seven days isn't the whole of this. It's one cycle of encoding who you're becoming. Life will keep showing you who that is. Sometimes by surprising you. Sometimes by asking you to deepen what you've already started.
When you're ready for another round — a different identity to encode, or the same one met more deeply — this journal is here. Send what you've written, clear what's saved, and begin again. Another seven days. No limit. No schedule. The body keeps its own time.
Whenever you're ready. Start again, or don't. Both are honest.
Only when you're ready to begin again
This erases everything you wrote, including the 30-day check-in. Send to Jeff first if you want me to see it.
