Bio-Awakening Universe™ · Practice Journal
Seven days. Write what you brought to the practice. Write what happened. Send it back to me.
Before You Begin
You don’t have to be ready. Most people aren’t.
You can come to this with grief, anger, numbness, confusion, resistance, or absolutely nothing at all. Whatever is here is what this is for.
You don’t need to force yourself into the “right” state before beginning. There isn’t one.
Some days you may feel open. Other days you may feel distracted, tired, irritated, or shut down. That’s okay too. This isn’t about performing well. It’s about learning how to meet yourself a little differently than you may be used to.
And honestly, some days it may feel like nothing happened. That doesn’t mean you failed. The body changes in quieter ways than most people expect. Sometimes the shift comes during the practice. Sometimes later that day. Sometimes slowly over time.
You don’t need to chase a breakthrough here. Just start where you are.
"The pain isn't in the feeling. The pain is in the resistance to the feeling. Stop the war, and the body knows what to do."
About these seven days
Seven days usually isn't enough. Everyone is different. Patterns we've carried for years don't release on a schedule. What seven days can do is begin something. You'll do the practice, you'll write down what happened, and slowly you'll get a feel for what this work actually is. That's enough.
I'm not asking you to transform. I'm asking you to show up for yourself for seven days, and then again, weeks later, for one more page — the 30-day check-in. The body keeps its own time. Some things shift quickly. Most things shift slowly. Both are real.
The practices, in case you need a reminder
What you'll do each day
Full IMPACT Method
The six steps. Inner Stillness. Meet What's Here. Permission to Allow with Warmth. And then what comes after — Accepted, Connected, Transformed — which you don't make happen. You let it happen, by getting out of the way. Take as long as you need. The body will tell you when something has moved.
Optional practices
IMPACT Light™ and N.A.P.™
IMPACT Light is for when you don't have time to do IMPACT properly. The same core moves, compressed. N.A.P. is the last thing before sleep. Use them if you want. There's a place to note them in the journal.
How each day will go
Each day you’ll find the same questions waiting. What you brought to the practice. Where you felt it. What happened when you brought warmth to it. And then the question I care about most: what was different in your day afterward?
The session matters. But what I really care about is what happens after. How your day feels. Whether something softened. Whether you related to yourself differently, even a little.
There's also a small space for an evening practice if you do one, or for noting IMPACT Light or N.A.P. moments. And an open space at the bottom for whatever else is true.
And honestly, some days it may feel like absolutely nothing happened. Sometimes people expect fireworks. Relief. A huge emotional release. And sometimes that happens. But sometimes what happens is much quieter — a small softening, a little more room in the chest, a calmer reaction later in the day, a little less fighting inside. Don’t overlook the quieter shifts. The body often changes gently before it changes dramatically. Nothing has gone wrong.
A small thing that helps
Set your phone alarm for the same time each day. It helps you remember. That's it.
When you reach the end
After day seven there's a final reflection. Then a separate 30-day check-in page that you'll come back to later, after life has had time to show you something. When you're ready to share — click Send to Jeff at the top. Your writing will download as a text file you can email to me at jeff@bioawakening.com. Send the seven-day version when you're done with day seven. Send again after the 30-day page. I read every one.
Your writing saves as you go. Close the page whenever. Come back when you're ready. It'll be here.
And if you want to do this again later — another seven days, when something new has surfaced — you can. Seven days is not the finish line. It’s just one honest pass through yourself. Send me what you wrote first, then clear the journal, and begin again. There’s no pressure to become someone else here. The point is learning that you can meet yourself without fighting what’s there.
Before The Practice
Before we begin, I just want one thing from you: honesty.
Not perfection. Not positivity. Not the version of you that has everything figured out.
Just honesty.
What’s actually here today? Not what you think should be here. Not what sounds spiritual or wise. Not what you think I want you to say.
Just what’s true.
Even if the truth is: “I feel disconnected.” “I don’t know what I feel.” “I don’t want to do this today.” “I’m tired.” “I’m overwhelmed.” “I feel nothing.”
That’s all okay. You don’t need to clean yourself up before meeting yourself.
A few honest things to know
You don't have to be ready. Most people aren't. You can come to this with grief, with anger, with numbness, with nothing — whatever is here is what this is for.
Warmth isn't a trick to make feelings disappear. Warmth lets them be here without fighting them. Sometimes the feeling softens quickly. Sometimes it stays a while. Both are okay.
Some sessions will feel like something happened. Some will feel like nothing did. Neither one means you did it right or wrong. You just did it.
If at any point this stirs up more than you can hold alone, please reach for someone who can sit with you — a therapist, a friend, anyone who knows you. This practice isn't a substitute for that kind of care when that kind of care is what's needed.
A place to start
What brought you here? What's been on your mind lately?
How are you with your feelings right now? Fighting them, avoiding them, making peace with them, or somewhere else?
Day
One
Before you begin
What feelings or emotions will you be giving warmth to today?
Just write what's actually here — not what you think should be here. A feeling, a thought, a tension in the body, a thing on your mind that won't settle. Whatever it is.
After
Where did you feel it in your body, and what did it feel like?
After
What happened when you brought warmth to it?
Later in your day
Was anything different the rest of the day? If the same trigger came back, did it still grip the same way?
Evening session, if you did one
A second session, IMPACT Light during the day, N.A.P. before sleep. Note any of it here.
Anything else
Sends just today's entry. You can still use Send to Jeff at the top to send everything at once.

Looking Back
Take your time with these. They're for you first. If you send them, I'll read every word.
What's beginning to feel different
What's beginning to feel different — even a little? In how you sit with what you feel, or how a familiar feeling lands now compared to a week ago?
The moment you remember most
What moment will you carry out of this week? Not the best one — the truest one.
Anything you want me to know
Anything else you want me to know? Anything I didn't ask?

Return Here
Come back to this page about thirty days after day seven. The things we meet in practice often come back in the weeks after — not as a failure, but as the body asking to meet them more deeply. What's worth knowing is how those things relate to you now, with some time having passed.
If less time has passed, that's fine. If more has passed, that's also fine. The body keeps its own time. Whenever you're here — just write what's true now.
What's different now
In your relationship with the things you met during those seven days — is anything different now? "Not much yet" is an honest answer if that's what's true.
What practice has looked like
Since day seven, has the practice been part of your life? Daily, sometimes, hardly at all — whatever's true.
What you want me to know now
Anything you couldn't have said at the end of day seven? Anything that's only become true since?

If You'd Like To Begin Again
Seven days isn't the whole of this. It's one cycle. One honest pass through what's here. Life will keep showing you what to work with — old patterns, new ones, layers you couldn't have known were there yet.
When it happens, this journal is here. Send what you've written, clear what's saved, and begin again. Another seven days. A different pattern. Or the same one, met more deeply. No limit. No schedule. The body keeps its own time.
Whenever you're ready. Start again, or don't. Both are honest.
Only when you're ready to begin again
This erases everything you wrote, including the 30-day check-in. Send to Jeff first if you want me to see it.
